My breakfast coffee for this Sunday is Kopi O Ais, black coffee with sugar over ice.

It’s been a hectic couple of days, with the school term starting again. Just managed to sit down for a proper cup of coffee this morning. Coffee of the day is Kopi ‘O’ Ah Chong — black local coffee.

Local coffee tends to be smooth, not bitter. This is due to the roasting method : local coffee beans are roasted together with sugar and margarine. Apparently, in some places they substitute the margarine for lard. Now that’s oily coffee.

For breakfast this morning, I had Kopi O Ais, black local coffee on ice. It’s weaker than I like, but still enough to keep me awake.

My first Coffee of The Day is also the first coffee of the year, and of the decade. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything momentous for the occasion, so a cup of instant would have to do. The only coffee available in the house right now is Old Town White Coffee “3 in 1″. The “3″ is for coffee, sugar and creamer.
