It’s been a hectic couple of days, with the school term starting again. Just managed to sit down for a proper cup of coffee this morning. Coffee of the day is Kopi ‘O’ Ah Chong — black local coffee.
Local coffee tends to be smooth, not bitter. This is due to the roasting method : local coffee beans are roasted together with sugar and margarine. Apparently, in some places they substitute the margarine for lard. Now that’s oily coffee.
