12 years ago, there were no Starbucks outlets in Malaysia. Now, there are over 115 stores all over the country. Starbucks celebrated their 11th Anniversary in Malaysia yesterday, and they decided to give away free brewed coffee in all their outlets, from 11am to 1pm.

Here was the typical Malaysian feedback on the promotion :

- Is it really free?
- Oh, it’s free. How come only between 11am to 1pm?
- Only black coffee?

I’m sure the people who took part in the promotion greatly enjoyed their free coffee.
