What looks like espresso, tastes like espresso, but is not actually made from coffee? It’s called Red Espresso. Red espresso is rooibos tea, also known as red tea. It’s produced in a way that is suitable for use in espresso machines, which means you can also use it as a base for espresso-type drinks like cappuccino and caffe latte.

Baristas in bikinis? Knotty Bodies Espresso opened up in Bellevue’s Crossroads neighborhood and immediately caused an uproar in the community. Residents are upset that the Knotty Bodies sign and bikini-clad baristas are close to a kids’ water park and community center for teens.

I honestly can’t remember the name of the restaurant where I bought today’s coffee of the day. The drink is called toffee. You could call it a mocha, without milk. Toffee is cocoa + coffee and sugar.

If the La Pavoni lever espresso machine is too expensive for you, here’s another way to make traditional Italian coffee — the moka pot. The moka pot works on your stove, or over any type of (sufficiently hot) fire, so you can even make coffee while camping outdoors.
