Opening a coffee shop

Thousands of people have the same dream – to open a cafe or coffee shop. After all, who wouldn’t want to enjoy financial independence while being surrounded with the wonderful smell of coffee every day. Michael Idov of Slate writes about his dream that eventually became a nightmare.

Idov and his wife actually went through the steps of opening their own cafe, and they don’t have a happy ending.
